THE ATTORNEY / CLIENT RELATIONSHIP IS A PRIVILEGE.
I am a zealous advocate and trial lawyer who strives for justice on behalf of my clients caught in difficult circumstances. Whether they are whistleblowers struggling between doing what is right and what their employers demand, or victims of harassment, retaliation and discrimination, my clients receive representation tailored to achieve the best possible result.
In more recent years, and in keeping with the theme of representing the "underdog", I have accepted the challenge of representing victims of so-called "SLAPP Lawsuits" (Strategic Lawsuit Against Public Participation), in defense of citizens' rights to freedom of speech as protected by the First Amendment of the Constitution of the United States. Bloggers and consumer advocates are increasingly being targeted by SLAPP lawsuits designed to intimidate them into silence. There are defenses to these lawsuits, and, in some circumstances, it may even be possible to turn the tide and obtain compensation for having been unlawfully targeted by a SLAPP suit. If you, or someone you know has been victimized by a SLAPP suit, there is hope.
I also have extensive experience representing businesses and individuals asserting or defending claims of consumer fraud. My clients include the region's most successful automotive retailers.
We focus on the representation of individuals and employers in all kinds of employment-related disputes, including claims of discrimination, harassment, retaliation and wage & hour claims.
We also perform workplace investigations following complaints to help resolve conflicts before they turn into litigation.
Defending your First Amendment Rights
We have litigated important free speech cases in Pennsylvania and New Jersey state and federal courts, including in the appellate courts. Most recently, Mr. Meguerian argued before the New Jersey Supreme Court in a case where the ACLU, the New Jersey Free Press Association and the Reporters Committee for Freedom of the Press appeared as amicus in support of our client's legal defenses.
Addressing Claims of Fraud and Misrepresentation
We represent the areas premier automotive retailers as well as national automotive service product providers with a proven track record of success. From litigating small claims to significant class and collective actions, we provide exceptional value to our clients.
