Employment / First Amendment / Consumer Fraud Attorney
Concentrating on employment and labor relations; representing whistleblowers, qui tam relators and victims of discrimination, harassment and SLAPP lawsuits in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
THE ATTORNEY / CLIENT RELATIONSHIP IS A PRIVILEGE.
I am a zealous advocate and trial lawyer who strives for justice on behalf of my clients caught in difficult circumstances. Whether they are whistleblowers struggling between doing what is right and what their employers demand, or victims of harassment, retaliation and discrimination, my clients receive representation tailored to achieve the best possible result.
In more recent years, and in keeping with the theme of representing the "underdog", I have accepted the challenge of representing victims of so-called "SLAPP Lawsuits" (Strategic Lawsuit Against Public Participation), in defense of citizens' rights to freedom of speech as protected by the First Amendment of the Constitution of the United States. Bloggers and consumer advocates are increasingly being targeted by SLAPP lawsuits designed to intimidate them into silence. There are defenses to these lawsuits, and, in some circumstances, it may even be possible to turn the tide and obtain compensation for having been unlawfully targeted by a SLAPP suit. If you, or someone you know has been victimized by a SLAPP suit, there is hope.
I also have extensive experience representing businesses and individuals asserting or defending claims of consumer fraud. My clients include the region's most successful automotive retailers.
